The Phil Meadows Project continues the journey for his multi-award winning music. Combining jazz elements with ambient-electronica, classical and contemporary music Meadows has established himself as one of the most distinctive, creative and talented young musicians in the UK. This original music showcases an important wave of British talent performing extensively across UK and venturing into mainland Europe.
With two studio albums behind him plans are afoot to record his third album in 2017. Exploring new musical relationships and fresh influences soaring melodies combine with head-nodding grooves, atmospheric soundscapes and intricate interplay as he tips influence towards Go-Go Penguin, Portico Quartet, Bill Laurance, Donny McCaslin and Tigran. At just 27 years of age Meadows is sharing stages with international piano trio Phronesis, electronic music legend Matthew Herbert, NYC's leading lady of jazz trumpet Ingrid Jensen and former Amy Winehouse MD Femi Temowo. Performance highlights for Meadows include sold-out shows at Ronnie Scott's, commissions to work with the Royal Northern Sinfonia at Sage Gateshead and performances across Belgium and Holland.
